Today me, Lola my sister and Ben went to our favourite market, The Treacle Market in Macclesfield. We stuffed our faces with buritto's and I purchased a dirndl style dress. Was a lovely day, counting down the days till next weekend already. Hope you had a gorgeous weekend.

The coffin bells are ringing
I've wanted to visit Abney Park Cemetery ever since I saw the post of the beautiful Kelly Marie there. It seems that dog walkers and runners are the main visitors. It was so pretty, I think it is the macabre romantic in me that loves wandering around such cemeteries.

Puss Cat
Inca wanted to appear in another post, hope you don't mind, she has a penchant for scratching our lovely bed, but it did give me the opportunity to get some good snaps of her. I got some lovely bargains from Barnado's in Cheadle at the weekend, a hat, handbag, apron and romper ensemble for niece Lola, all for £8.98! I need more handbags in my life, my favourite 1940's one is disintegrating.

The Tentacled Hallway
Last weekend we finally got round to adding some more personal touches to the house. We'd had two of the mirrors for a good few weeks, but were lacking a drill. We now have a drill, much to Ben's dismay as I am demanding we put holes here there and everywhere.
This mirror we got from eBay, its so ruddy pretty. I can finally put on my lippy in the bedroom instead of hovering of the hard to reach mirror in the bathroom!
Little mirror amongst the hat collection.
My favourite accessory in the whole house, I absolutely love it. It reminds me of the amazing Adam Wallacavage's work, but without the price available on request tag. I am saving it up one day for one of his chandeliers.
New mirror for the hallway we got last weekend for £18!
Another mirror we got last Saturday I just love the shape of it, this was only £15. Also finally got some chairs, four £5 each. I am going to sand them all down and paint them blue with a dash of gold, as I am gaudy like that.
Finally got one of my favourite Caitlin Shearer prints up.
This is hung up in the kitchen, think Vincent Price would be chuffed being the foodie he was.
If you have any hints or tips on doing up your home do let me know!

Kitty Daisy and Lewis
Well a couple of weekends ago I finally got the chance to see possibly the most talented family ever, boy do these guys have good genes. They played at Manchester Grillstock, a festival that promised meat, music and mayhem, it didn't really live up to that for me but was a good way to spend an afternoon. We were right bang smack at the front of the pitifully small crowd for such talent as theirs!
Actually fell in love with Daisy's playsuit was absolutely awesome!
Kitty plays harmonica like the she's possessed, so amazing.
