Style Icon: Wanda Jackson

The first lady of Rock n Roll is such an inspiration to me, talented, sassy and a beauty. Starting out as a country singer she turned to rock n roll after touring with Elvis who she also dated, imagine if they'd had children?! What's your favourite Wanda song?

O' Sailor Why'd You Do It ?

I have always had a fascination with the sea and anything related i.e. sailors, mermaids, wooden ships, hidden treasure. So why not dress like a sailor? The jumper is from topshop and the dress worn as a skirt is h&m. This ensemble was a hit with the elderly a few weekends ago when I wore it, one lady went to stroke my arm when I was wearing this...

Nice day for a white wedding

This is what I wore to friends wedding last Friday, I panic purchased the dress from eBay a right bargain at £29, and it arrived the morning of the wedding, talk about cutting it fine.
I paired it with some Matalan heels and my grandma's clutch and big ass earrings. I have been quite taken with beehiving my hair of late, anything to avoid washing it basically. I did wear a hat but these photos were taken at 3am in the morning and it had slid off by then (edit* found some hat pics on facetwat), as had most of my face. So do excuse the grainy hotel room shots.

Also I am thinking of investing in a dslr camera if anyone has any tips on what to go for, my budget is going to be about £350, just selling one kidney for now.

Me and the dude, and his beautiful niece Evie Rose, she was the perfect flower girl.

Said hat with veil, I felt like a femme fatale, ooh err.

Look at what I bought not a second thought oh Romeo

Wait there is a second thought, where the frick am I going to store this beauty? We don't actually have a house yet, I didn't bid on it the boyfriend did, my frivolous eBaying ways are rubbing off on him. It was a bargain, you could not get this at DFS for sure. Now trying to find cheap storage, or considering getting rid of my bed and just sleeping on it... I am so practical.

I imagine that Mozart composed symphonies on this sofa, people will not be able to sit in his spot.

Style Icon: Humphrey Bogart

Think it's about time I dipped my cap to some gentlemen Style Icons, considering I am so inspired by menswear.
Who better than Bogey? Hardly ever without his dickie bow and a hat, he had class, and that beautiful craggy face. It helped he usually had the beautiful Betty Bacall hanging from his arm.

He ain't gonna play the sap for ya ladies...

"I’m not good-looking. I used to be, but not anymore. Not like Robert Taylor. What I have got is I have character in my face. It’s taken an awful lot of late nights and drinking to put it there. When I go to work in a picture, I say, ‘Don’t take the lines out of my face. Leave them there.’" - Humphrey Bogart

Bogey gems to watch, whilst sipping on an old fashioned:
