Nosferatu the Vampyre (1979)

I have a penchant for vampire films and Isabelle Adjani is so beautiful in Nostferatu the Vampyre, directed by Werner Herzog I could not help sharing a million screen captures.
This weekend I will be donning a cape and wandering around looking anaemic, what is your favourite monster?

Marry Me & Bury Me

Okay this is the first time I have worn this 1930s treasure of a dress since I bought it, it is the kind of dress that makes you feel like a princess. I wish to be married and buried in this dress, just so you know. I added a bird to my hair to add to the lunacy of my ensemble.

Andrex bag to add to the look

Hope your weekend was filled with beautiful things.

Style Icon: Ulyana Sergeenko

I have only discovered the delightful Ulyana this week, she is a Russian fashion designer & photographer, whose retro and traditional styling is just so beautiful. I am definitely inspired for Autumn, which it pretty much is already in ol' England.

This has to be my favourite look.

Lily Collins as Snow White

So excited about the upcoming Brothers Grimm:Snow White, Lily Collins looks like she will be perfect for the role. Costumes are by Eiko Ishioka, who has worked on The Fall and Bram Stoker's Dracula, so they should be amazing. Anyone else a Snow White obsessive?

Collections: Jewels & Books

Today my lovelies I am partaking in Casey from Elegant Musings Blog Collections tour. I have been a great fan of Casey's for sometime so I jumped at the chance to be a part of her cherished collections tour. It took me awhile to decide what to share with you; capes?, hats? However, I have decided on two collections: My favourite pieces of jewellery and books.

Now I have been something of a magpie from a young age, as you see in the left hand corner there is a necklace shaped like a bottle, well this is the first piece of jewellery I bought for myself. It is actually a perfume bottle, however being practical at age ten I thought it was a screwdriver, so it has rather bent applicator.

This leopard necklace is one of my favourites, I purchased it from eBay a few months ago and always feel very glamourous and kitsch when I wear it.

These are my my animal bracelets, well a lobster, a snake and an alligator, I adore accessories that are humorous

On the right is a rather sorry looking turquoise number, I love turquoise jewellery it makes me feel fantastic, have no idea why. The cobweb is something I have had since I was a teenager, and the bracelet below the spider one is a vintage piece that I have had since I was eleven, it is broke but I still like staring at it.

The scorpion brooch lost it's tail, however it is still worn regularly, but it is now a harmless scorpion. I have a lot of rings, my favourite has to be the one on the far right it is simple silver number with jagged jewels, but when I purchased it the jeweller told me he was staring at some frost the day he made it and that is what inspired him.

I love spider jewellery, I am not too keen on them in my bed, the real ones that is.

Now for my books, ever since I received  The Jolly Christmas Postman book, with mysterious compartments with games and letters inside I have been hooked on reading. Being a film graduate it was my duty to accumulate books for my studies, the majority of my books are actors and actresses biographies, I am fascinated by the way my favourite stars lived, what they thought, who they loved.

I will share some of my favourites with you.

The book that started it all.

This book is very precious to me it is one that Tim Burton created for Alexander McQueen, I adore Burton's style and the late McQueen's.

This Marilyn book is one of my favourite's on the actress, particularly the not so regular photos of her.

This Lana book is amazing, written by her daughter it really gives you an insight into Lana's persona, and the photos are just breathtaking.

This is a beautiful book with great information on 1940s style, with some beautiful photos, I need the hats.

This is another treasured Tim Burton book, the artwork in it just amazes me every time I look through it, so inspiring makes me forget myself.

And because I cannot possibly go through every book, here's some shots of the rest of my books.

I will be doing my first give away soon which will include books, so if you love books as much as me stay around.
