Happy New Year!!
Hello pretties hope you are having a wonderful New Year's Eve. I am watching films with my boy (J Edgar Hoover), hopefully next year we will have a house so I can throw a masked ball. What did you get up to? Do you have any resolutions? I don't think I have ever used exclamation marks in a title before, I am so provocative.

Is it Easter yet?
Hope you all had a ruddy good Christmas, mine was exhausting, cooking and playing with my nieces! This is what I wore on the day, would you believe this beaut cost me only £12?! I feel like Barbara Stanwyck/Lizabeth Scott in it, the collar is a bit Harriet Craig, but I am rather mental.
What pressies did you give and receive?

If I were a trapeze artist...
Hello there little snowballs! Hope you are all relaxing and eating copious amounts of food, whether you celebrate Christmas or not! I am currently in my favourite peach satin 1930s pjs with a clean face waiting for Santa to arrive!
This was my ensemble today whilst I treated myself to some bits from the sales, mostly lingerie and jewellery! In my head I feel I should be a trapeze artist in this dress or at least a show girl
Excuses the un-pin-curled hair, did my roots this morning, so no time for setting!
Oh looky here I lost ma skirt, wouldn't/shouldn't really wear this outside so had to take this opportunity to wear it for y'all. Skanky showgirl trapeze artist am I?!
I hope you all have a fantastical Christmas and a wonderous New Year. I'd like to say a big thank you to all my lovely followers for your support and comments you make my life so much better and that isn't me being sappy, tis true. Peace xxx

Style Icon: Lola Ruby Tuesday
As you would imagine of a child who is named after songs by The Kinks and Rolling Stones, she is rather cool. My darling two year old niece is already more stylish than her mother (sssh). I am so glad my sister has finally started putting Lola in vintage, children's clothing tends to be garish Disney prints or down right dull except for the likes of Poppy and Their Nibs!

Candy Canes, Snow Globes, Swans and Glitter
Thought I would share a few Christmas snapshots from around the house. My aspiration for a candy covered pink tree came true, it was a ruddy bargain for £8 from Wilkinson's. My room now stinks of popcorn after painstakingly making a garland, the lovely did most of it though!
This snow globe I have had since I was about 8, it plays Santa Claus is Coming to Town, it can lull me into a state of dreamy nostalgia within 5 seconds of hearing it.
The gorgeous fairy costume is for my boyfriend's niece, unfortunately they do not go up to my size, drat.
Hello little deer!
Ooh Caitlin Shearer art amongst my tree, it is a tattoo, but I want to keep it forever!
My new favourite Swan!
Because I have a black heart, home made cobweb, but it is bejewelled so fits right in.
Paper angel made by a very clever friend in work.
These cards from Sesame and Lily are gorgeous!
Are you getting excited for Christmas? I am looking forward to a week off hurray.
