Is it Easter yet?

Hope you all had a ruddy good Christmas, mine was exhausting, cooking and playing with my nieces! This is what I wore on the day, would you believe this beaut cost me only £12?! I feel like Barbara Stanwyck/Lizabeth Scott in it, the collar is a bit Harriet Craig, but I am rather mental.
What pressies did you give and receive?

Crap picture of ma fluffy slippers.

My tiny room taken over my my massive bed and clothes, sorry about the mess.

Love seeing Joan with all her freckles on show.

Yeah that's right I have a Christmas owl.

All images via pinterest, which I am now addicted to.

  6. You DO LOOK very Stanwyck! And are always such good fun!

    So, presents...
I got 2 books for Christmas (the 20's and 30's source books, soon up for a review on my blog). I also had a present to myself in the shape of a fur swing coat (crazy, I'd never planned to buy such a thing). Presented hub with some socks that did not fit him (they lied to me at the store!!!) so they ended up being yet another present for me. Luckily he had better luck with the shoes :). I also had in store a vintage tartan robe for him and 2 beautiful silk pocket squares with a fedora print. Absolutely lush, if I say it myself. It was nice to have presents this year as we've done a few years without any.

But hey, you haven't told us about your pressies!

Those books sound very intriguing, I need to read more instead of messing on the internet. Oh do feel you cannot go wrong with a swing coat, never seen you in 50s items?! You can never have too many pairs of socks!
Well I got some skirts from one sister, housey stuff from my other sister and dlsr camera from my man!
And my mum's got me a handmade caitlin shearer dress very excited about that!
      I'm a lucky girl xx
