Feeling Peachy

Saturday's ensemble has the hope of spring, it is starting to get a bit warmer. I didn't even wear a coat to the supermarket, an old man was fascinated with my get up, 'where are you going?' me 'no where, I dress like this all the time' he 'that is fabulous', I only appeal to old men and children generally.

The dress reminds me of a five year old's party outfit (bought in Paris), the flowers are from the local market, I think I am going to wear flowers for the rest of this month. The brogues have seen better days, I 'need' more shoes. Hope you have a fantastical weekend!

  4. Oh my, how peach suits you! You are simply a vision of spring!!
I think my favorite part of the ensemble has to be the puffy sleeves or perhaps the sophisticated gold bracelet; it's all so lovely!
Are your earrings peach as well?

  6. That dress is gorgeous! Like you, pastels and pale colours aren't my usual thing. But this looks just lovely on you.

One of the lovely things about wearing vintage is the wonderful reactions you get from older people, actually. I love seniors so it makes me happy when I brighten up their day, such as this occasion...

But I think Sacramento's right - I'm sure lots of people like your dresses, even if they don't say it aloud or even realise it themselves. It's just that children and old people have less inhibitions so will actually tell you!
