Beatnik

Hello petals, how's your weekend going? Thought I would share with you three of my favourite garments at the moment in one ensemble oh yeah I am a multi tasker. Got this houndstooth coat on ebay for £5.75! bargain, and I have been after to some high waisted black trousers for forever and River Island came to the rescue, slight danger of camel toe though. And I am addicted to anything flamingo related so my lovely boyfriend got me this Vero Modo top as an early birthday present, oh yeah. Also I love wearing socks like I am five again, doesn't go down well at work though. The beret is from a dodgy tourist shop in Paris added the lovely pom pom my friend made me, it wobbles when I walk which amuses me no end.

I feel like I should be in the club scene in Funny Face.

  4. I'm always on the hunt for a pair of high waisted trousers/jeans, I think I must pay a visit to my local River Island! I'm even considering to buy one of those Bernie Dexter trousers because they seem really high waisted (most of the so called high waisted trousers just aren't high enough for me), but they're sooooo expensive! The beatnik look looks great on you! I must try it too, I loved Funny Face :).

    1. Me too they are so hard to find, my other swing pair style ones are from there too! I know her stuff is rather too pricey for my budget too, but suppose if you wear them a lot. And thank you, I tend stay away from trousers, unless they are high waisted aha xx

    1. Thank you, I had to de clutter it before I took the snaps, there was toiletries galore strewn everywhere hah. I think a flamingo blouse would be perfect, I had been yearning for one too but then saw this and it has quenched my desire, for now! Oh hope you got some goodies at the car boot, I cannot find any decent ones near me. xxx

  7. I love that scene in Funny Face! Makes me wish I was all gamine and thin-legged. But at the moment, I would definitely settle for a flamingo top... I'm a bit addicted to them myself!

  9. Wonderful outfit!! You would be the heppest cat at the jazz club ;) "Funny Face" is my very favorite Audrey flick, and she just looked so adorable in it. And I love the idea of adding a pompom to a beret, what a fun way to spruce my winter caps up!!
