The first lady of Rock n Roll is such an inspiration to me, talented, sassy and a beauty. Starting out as a country singer she turned to rock n roll after touring with Elvis who she also dated, imagine if they'd had children?! What's your favourite Wanda song?
Aww, Wanda is one of my FAVORITES!!! And she's still every bit as fiery and fabulous now as fifty years ago <3 "Funnel of Love" is one of my very favorite songs, not just of hers but out of every song ever. The she went and remade it with the Cramps... too much perfection!!

Wanda Jackson grew up in Oklahoma City just like I did! I'm actually not familiar with her music; I didn't grow up listening to country or rockabilly. I'll have to go check out some youtube videos!
