Regrets collect like old friends

On Monday me and my sister went to see Florence and the Machine, we stayed over in Liverpool, which is such a beautiful city, I need to visit more often. This was the third time for me seeing Flo, I flipping adore her. Needless to say she was exquisite live, the voice of an angel and the energy of a two year old on stage. As usual I was completely overdressed for the gig but so was my sister, the audience were so young that me and my sister were too nice to push in front of the 13 year old girls right at the front. The support act was a fantastic band HAIM, a group of sisters, the bassist kept gurning and pulling up her tights so me and my sister immediately liked them.

To the safety conscious out there the car was stationary whilst Lola was posing for me.

Black diamanté Kate Moss for Topshop dress and my rust stained 40s number.

My lovely sister Amy, everyone says we look alike? She is proper classy with her Babysham!

Is it a ghost?! no tis only me...

I loved the art deco style back drop, it kept changing throughout, rather spiffy.

Yellow submarine, I am like the only non Beatles fan in the world...

  1. You and your sister both look great and, I think, wonderfully appropriate for the show. My philosophy is that one can never be overdressed - others can just be underdressed.

I agree - Liverpool is a very attractive city. Especially the sunset over the Mersey... Sigh.

  4. What exquisite outfits one and all! I'm especially fond of your rust stained forties frock - that's gorgeous enough to serve as a wedding dress, if one so desired.
