February relaxing her fingers after a short winter's grip

Is mostly always covered in flowers and bedraggled clothes. The below jacket is a recent purchase from eBay, the poor sausage is a bit worse for wear, not sure what to do about the padding coming through, any ideas? I've already worn it like, but got a few raised eyebrows.

I have moved around my dresses that I have on display, these are spring ones, because in my head I believe it should be spring already. In other news we have finally got a completion date on the house! I will tell you more about it soon. In the meantime if any of you lovelies have tips on moving, packing, planning please do advise as I am clueless and just trawling eBay looking at purty things.

  1. I feel like it is spring already! Floral dresses are totally appropriate. Well, the sun is out anyway, and it's not unbearably cold. I'm off to frolic in the springtime (of my mind, if not absolutely of reality). x

  3. Oh yes, I completely agree, it's pretty much spring in my mind at this point too, even though we had freezing fog and a new snowfall today (so clearly I'm jumping the gun a tad). Your springtime frocks are absolutely beautiful, as is that wonderful Asian jacket (the stuffing peaking out just gives it an extra dose of personality).

  5. Aww, it's such a lovely jacket! It doesnt look to bad from here but would a few stitches on the inside tidy it up a wee drop!? Good luck with all the moving business, i know it can be stressful so i hope you enjoy it and are mostly just excited! :) I haven't posted your gift yet btw, I had to sew you something as a wee extra valentines and it's taken longer than I thought what with all my other million pies I have my fingers in!!! I need to manage my time better! Hopefully it will be done and posted by tomorrow on my post office day! @.@ hehe! :) Take care kitten! xxx

    1. Yes that might help, think might need to get some material to patch it up with as it's even worse on the back! Aaaw you are so adorable you shouldn't of, but very excited to see! Aha I forgive your grammatical slip, I make them all the time, much to my beloved's chagrin! xxx

  7. Congrats on moving! The best advice I have is to move as little as possible, meaning that you go through everything and give away what you don't love anymore so you don't have to drag it to another house. That being said, I'm a terrible mover and I'm just going to pay someone to do it for me next time.

Thankfully, we've been having a pretty sunny winter. It's actually 63 degrees right now so it feels like spring. I think 63 is just about perfect! Too bad we have to pay for nice Februaries with 100-degree temperatures in July and August.

  8. Lovely jacket! Re repairs I would try and open up the lining so that you can use a stiff iron on interfecing (light colour) to hold the fabric down and together (from the inside). I have done this for a friends dress that did the same thing. People won't be able to tell- unless they are really close up. xx Shauna

  9. I'm not sure why but this weblog is loading incredibly slow for me. Is anyone else having this problem or is it a problem on my end? I'll check
back later and see if the problem still exists.
