Sunshine & Monkeys

The weather has been glorious, which is a special treat here in the UK. On Friday I went to The Monkey Forest, which is home to Barbary Macaques in 60 acres of forest. It was very surreal to see all of them so close up. Yesterday was spent eating outside and wandering round Abney Hall Park, which was once owned by Agatha Christie's brother in law, and she used to often visit and wrote two stories from there: the novel After the Funeral and the short story The Adventure of the Christmas Pudding.

It is lovely to not have to wear tights for once! Today I am going on a bike ride, hope you are all having a lovely weekend!

These socks ended up covered in mud as I do not like to follow paths.

These two males were so cute, they kept play fighting then cuddling

  1. Hehe, that monkey in the last picture looks so funny! I hope you're having fun on your bike ride! The weather is lovely over here too (it probably won't last long...), lots of sunshine - I'm already applying loads of sunscreen.
