Dirndl Do

The weather has been so rubbish here that I had the opportunity to wear my long sleeved original Salzburger Dirndl style dress today. I was very surprised that it fit me, the sleeves are fabulously big. The dress reminds me of Dolly Parton, wish I had some cowboy boots to wear it with. Today I dragged my beloved to the Decorative Fair, and purchased a rather gorgeous 1940s evening dress which I will show you soon.

What did you all get up to this weekend? I wish the sunshine would come back to the UK we haven't had an actual summer in years.

    I love dirndls! I have one, but it's a bit OTT for everyday wear - I had my eye on one on ebay but was outbid :(
