I love wearing velvet and thought I needed to share with you my new hat, which I won on the amazing Mary Van Note's Blog, from the lovely No Carnations shop on etsy, I also won a gorgeous blouse which is very Joan Holloway, that I shall show you soon. I got the dress at a fleamarket in Berlin, I have been lusting after blue velvet dresses ever since watched The Dreamers several years ago, the scene with Eva wearing the red beret skulking is just divine.
Awhile ago I discovered that I was not the only one to have this dress, Maria of tissue clouds bought one exactly the same in London! how cool is that?
In case you are not already aware of how brilliant Mary Van Note is please witness this;
