Rian Johnson is one of my favourite directors, ever since I saw Brick. Now The Brother Bloom, appeals to me on so many levels, it happens to have four of my favourite actors in it; Brody, Ruffalo, Weisz and Kikuchi, and my favourite city, Prague and there is a lot of cape and hat wearing, what else do I need?
Oh oh yes yes yes! I LOVE Rian Johnson and The Brothers Bloom is just so marvellous. I love how you can tell Johnson loves old movies - I think that sensibility really comes through in both this and Brick. The music, the styling, the dialogue. Great mix of 'old timey' and new. Really looking forward to Looper.

Awesome that you love him too, I did an essay comparing Brick and The Maltese Falcon, as they were so similar, I really like the homage he pays to old cinema. Yes very excited for Looper! xx
