Hello petals, I am currently in bed with a horrific sore throat and hot sweats.. like you needed to know that. Any who, this weekend me and my lovely are going to the big smoke to celebrate his birthday. Now you London based readers out there, where should we go and what should we see?
On my list so far is Spitalfields Market and Abney Park Cemetery oh and Wachaca as we have a serious addiction to Mexican food!

Oh my goodness, where to begin with the suggestions??? I can recommend the Munch exhibition at the Tate Modern (blog post review pendind!), and I've not been but the new tanks space there is supposed to be impressive. And the hydrangeas in the courtyard at the V&A are making that look even more wonderful than ever, I noticed last week...
ReplyDeleteDidn't get to the Tate, but went to the V&A I love it there, I could actually live and work there. Never enough time to see everything, really want to come back around Christmas, you live in such a beautiful city! xx
DeleteIt totally sucks that you are sick right now,but I'm sure you'll get yourself well for a glorious time in London! O,I haven't been there since 1992,and I loved it! Couldn't live there,though...
ReplyDeleteThe Victoria and Albert Museum is a must,as is oodles of shopping and pix for us!
I've heard so much about Spitalfields, and that's on my list when I hopefully come over next year.I wonder if Greenwich still has a market?? It used to be amaaaaaazing! I lived in Greenwich for 5 months, actually, and remember loving the place where Henry VIII was born....can't think what it's bloody called....gah..
Yay,mexican food!!! Rock on,get well, and pack some scrummy clothes this instant!!

I am a lot better thanks my lovely. I have taken tons of photos that I have been battering instagram with but will upload them soon! Spitalfields was lovely, but missed the vintage market as its only on on Thursdays, boo! xxxx
DeleteGreat pics, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure, they are all from a lovely tumblr I linked to! x
DeleteI hope you're feeling better. Have a great time in London!
ReplyDeleteThank you Lauren, it was awesome, didn't want to come back! x
DeleteKEW GARDENS!! Just been there with my Mum today The weathers going to be amazing so it would be perfect. Or Greenwich as there's just so much to do there. Oh josh there's just so much. V&A for sure. Spitalfields is only Vintage on Thursdays so maybe head to Angel for Camden passage, there's a vintage Market on both days of the weekend and so many lovely Vintage shops there. Plus Angel ( especially Upper street) is full of amazing resturants. The Breakfast club ( in Camden Passage) is one of mine and Craig's faves, best burgers.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful time honey. xxx
I am going to have wait till I can drag my mum to go Kew Gardens as think the boy would be bored to tears! Really loved Camden Passage it was so lovely to just wander around, lots of lovely kimonos but all rather pricey hah. Thank you for all the recommendations, want to come back soon, never get to see everything I want, i.e the fan musuem?! xxx
