Caught in your web

Who doesn't like cobwebs, especially on their clothes? I've wanted to make a cobweb print day dress ever since I made my ridiculously ott one for Halloween. I used a Butterick pattern that was supposed to be easy but I really struggle following patterns as I have a short attention span! Anyway I don't think she turned out to bad, I also made a little belt and turban to match and she was worn on Valentines Day, to Tesco as I'm a real classy gal.
It's not just the lighting, I have red hair now, and like half the length it was, still think I will go back to black eventually but I'm enjoying the change for awhile, if anyone could recommend tips for brows and ginger hair I still keep doing mine black aha.

My bruised Valentine fell off his bicycle hence the gnarley bruise - he's okay!

Holiday Style

This summer me and my family are going to Croatia, I think it was about seven years ago that I last went on a holiday that involved beaches and lots of sunshine. So all I keep daydreaming about now is playsuits, two pieces, straws hats and adorable swim wear. Luckily I have a lot of impratical summer dresses so shan't need much. However, I have treated myself to a yellow gingham 1950s swimming costume, you will die when you see how cute it is!
In the meantime let us drool over these lovelies, all from my pinterest

P.S. If you have been to Croatia please give me some tips if you have any!

If Only

If only Cary was sat at the foot of my bed playing a harp, alas he is not, it's Monday again, bleh. On the plus side I have a four day week ahead of me, going to a wedding this Friday and I have no new dress planned argah. I am 'desperately' watching numerous dresses on eBay and drooling over expensive ones on etsy, like I need a new one....
I hope your week starts well.
