Preston Vintage Guild: Wayne Hemmingway I love you a little bit

Well I had a really magical weekend me and the beloved went to Preston Vintage Guild fair for a wander and the turn out was amazing, so many stalls (so little pennies). I managed to score a beautiful swan which I will show you soon. But the main excitement was that we got free tickets to The Spirit of '42 ball, as me and several other ladies won best dressed! It was so funny I had to walk down this little red carpet next to all these highly more poised and photogenic women, but I won tickets to the meal and ball, along with some other lovely ladies.

So as any insane woman does I drove all the way back home to get changed into something more floor sweeping and headed back. I was like a child when I saw the inside of the tent all star lit, with beautiful swing orchestra playing. And I saw Wayne Hemmingway wandering around, so cool, I am a geek.

Any who the evening was spectacular I managed to drag Ben onto the dance floor and we tried to learn the foxtrot and we even had a slow dance. I felt like a clumsy Ginger Rogers. I have decided I want to take up swing dancing, just need a willing partner.  I wish I could of taken pictures of all the wonderfully dressed people, but I was having far too much fun!

All photos mine except the dance floor number at the top right, that's me on a dance floor so amazing harhar.
