Style Icon: Joanna Newsom

What's not to love about a harpist who sounds like a combination of Rasputina and Fiona Apple - to me anyway. I am so smitten with her music and style and that hair, I need to plait my hair more.

  1. I read an interview a while back where Joanna spoke of her clothing choices. Apparently folks expect her to dress like a woodland fairy after hearing her music, but she likes contemporary fashion. Either way I'm a huge fan of her music and style. I've been lucky enough to see her perform - utterly enchanting!

    1. I think she dresses quite ethereal too but she is just so creative and unique love her, so wonderful you've seen her play glad to hear she lived up to my expectations of her magicalness! xxx

  2. Ooh, I like Rasputina and Fiona Apple but I've never come across Joanna Newsom so I will check her out.

  3. She is adorable! Her lovely voice paired with her whimsical beauty... She really is one of a kind!

  4. This post made me want to grow my hair as long as I can! There is something aout it, it looks romantic I don't know lol

  5. I used to listen to her all the time when I worked in a wee boutique, so lovely to help the day pass, such a beautiful voice but for some reason I never even knew what she looked like! \^.^/ What a babe! I hope you are well kitten! Oh you must be so excited to have Christmas in your home with Inca!? Or are you going away!? It is looking so lovely you have done such a great job decorating it! Anyhoo, all the best sweetpea! x

  6. I don't really know her, but I'm quite jealous, she's married to Andy Samberg !! He's so hilarious and charming in Brooklyn 99 ^^

    See U !

  7. As undeniably engaging, fresh and beautiful as her ensembles are, it's her princess worthy tresses that I adore most about her look in these images. The braided styles in particular are so enchantingly pretty!
