If I were a Chorus Girl

Aah so this is my haul from last Sundays Vintage Village fair, I did good eh. The black slinky ensemble £20 is a two piece, dress and jacket with a darling little belt. I'd seen it the month before but didn't think it would fit, however I was heckled into trying it on by my friend and by jove it fit. The lady from the stall, Lost but Not Forgotten, got rather emotional to see her old favourite frock from 1973 on me, I love clothes with a history and I will look after it all the more.

The beaded little dress £5 I can't quite work out, it doesn't look like its been shortened so I have decided it's a chorus girl's costume. Which obviously I need, I have already been doing my version of tap dancing on the kitchen floor whilst wearing it...
The charm bracelet is so heavy that I like to say it will stop me from doing work, but it doesn't. The little hat sits on my head perfectly and was only £5. The Libeled Lady Print was a snip at £3. And I am a sucker for a tourist scarf, this London one was just £3, a girl can never have too many scarves. Have you found any gems recently?

Red and Green Must Never Be Seen

Sometimes I like dressing like a Christmas tree, wearing mostly green with a splash of red (lipstick doesn't really count but with the diamanté detailing I felt like a tree). Whoever said that red and green don't go together pft?!

This was a purchase over a year ago from the Decorative fair, I barely wear it as its scratchy wool and I am a delicate sod. Today me and some lovely friends went to my favourite vintage fair, The Vintage Village in the gorgeous Historic Market in Stockport. I bought some beautiful things that I will post about soon. I need to quit buying impractical items, but all the practical stuff is too pricey, coat £70? no give me a chorus girls costume for a fiver thanks. Ooh and I have new shoes, if you follow me on instagram you will note I had drooled over these in a magazine, well I got them in the sale even better, so very autumnal don't you think? Oh and I lopped two inches off my hair whilst watching the new Bat for Lashes video, I have bob envy issues.

Sorry about the heater, it's getting cold like.

Said video, going to see her next Monday  super excited, I am going to wear so much glitter you will see me from space.

Waiter, will you serve the nuts? I mean, will you serve the guests the nuts?

Hi there I would like to introduce you to my new favourite dress and hat. I do feel you can never have too many bird related prints don't you? It was a bit pricier than I normally go (£23 incl postage) but I was having a bad day at work and won it whilst hovering in the toilets, as you do. The hat I got on Monday it was only £1.99!, it's mustard felt, two of my favourite things.

Please do excuse the tripod in the mirror, I am crap.

Check out my earrings they are also a favourite, they do weigh my earlobes down though.

How gorgeous is my Mum's bed linen cupboard?
