Ada & Inca

So Inca is still mighty p**sed that she now has a sister, but slowly she is getting used to her company. Ada is so naughty compared to Inca she constantly tries to steal our food, and dives into her litter at any opportunity just to hear the noise of it all scattering on the wooden floor. I'd be lost without these two little devils.

Hello there! Is anyone left harhar. I'm a terrible blogger! Me and Benji decided Inca needs a new friend, we were pining for a black rex so I popped an email to the lovely breeder we got Inca from to please let us know when another litter was due and she happened to have one tiny smoke left who was the only one to survive in her litter, poor little mites. So last weekend we made the drive up the winding hills to Derbyshire and met our little baba, we will hopefully get her on Valentine's all being well, isn't she a beauty?

Inca with her beautiful Mama Purdy, she is such a sweet natured lady and very protective of her little baby, I wish we could take her home with us too!

Hey there lovelies, how the devil are you? This was my ensemble on Saturday, the dress is one of my absolute favourites, I purchased it from pin up parade ages ago for a pittance as it was seconds due to some shoddy sewing, (I can't move my massive Crawford shoulders freely in it and my Dolly's try and break free but besides that).The brown and leopard print hat cost me £4, it was so bent but I managed to get it on my head without looking too much like an ol' bag lady.

What did you do at the weekend? I finished painting the hall, landing and stairs a light violet, oh my what a pain to paint around picture rails. I will share pictures soon. I love our house so much but it wouldn't be a  home without Inca and Benjamin.

1950s Novelty Print aka Heaven

Say hello to my dream dress, 1950's Egyptian novelty print I knew she had to be mine. I am always searching on eBay for vintage Egyptian curios and clothes, not since I lost out on bidding on a Victorian black net pyramid skirt have I got this giddy, hey it may be two sizes too big, but without the belt its more 1920's Egyptian revival, so what the hell. Sorry about the messy hair, if you follow me on twitter you will know I was having a hair dilemma debating whether to chop it off, dye it etc. Being a Gemini I have now decided to just get a good trim, until I see someone with a fabulous bob that is.

Twas the night before Hallow's Eve

Hello ghouls and goils, as some of you maybe fully aware I adore Halloween I have done since I read the Worst Witch books when I was little. Any excuse for more escapism and I am there. With the house being upside down with improvements I have only recently put up our decorations, I plan to leave them up till Guy Fawkes!

 What are you doing for Halloween?

Date night & good hair

Past two weekends me and Ben have been decorating the front room, jeez are high Victorian ceilings hard to make over. We are nearly getting there, just need to get rid of the seriously heinous brown stained carpet. I want to hire an industrial sander and renovate the floorboards, just hoping they are in good enough condition to do so! Anyway, being in your scruffs all day isn't much fun so we went out for a lovely Italian meal last night and I was rather chuffed that my hair managed to look nice after having my pincurls under a scarf all day. Inca was also eager to share this joy of a good hair evening!

I wore a little Zara polka dot number, it reminded me of the look Jane Russell had when she and Marilyn got their paws imprinted at Grauman's Chinese Theater.

Ice cream you scream

On Tuesday it was Ben's birthday so like any normal 29 year old he wanted to go to the Cheshire Ice Cream Farm, we were the only adults there without children aha, but it was god damn good ice cream, my favourite was liquorice & blackcurrant. I wore a newly acquired blue velvet dress which I got for £4.50, I did have to shallow breath in it, as the belt was way too tight, the things I do for a pretty dress?!

Leave you when the summer comes a rolling

This was my ensemble for work last Thursday, we had a themed week to raise money for charity. It was supposed to be music festival, so I dressed like a Led Zeppelin groupie, in my favourite dress and vintage jacket. Inca helped me change the bed, can you see how helpful she was? Helpful by being so ruddy adorable. Sorry about the amazingly frizzy hair.
